Thermatex Quarter Rug - Navy with Red Binding

Designed to promote more effective performance and prevent injury, by helping your horse's muscles to warm up and cool down, the Thermatex Quarter Rug in classic navy with red binding is a trusted choice for riding in cooler conditions. Its insulating layer helps retain warmth across the back and quarters, while the breathable outer fabric wicks moisture away from the body to help keep your horse dry and comfortable.

Shaped specifically for use in the saddle, it provides coverage where it is needed without interfering with the rider’s leg. Secure Velcro straps keep the rug in place, while its practical design makes it easy to put on and remove while mounted.

Fit

Use the size guide to find the quarter rug that matches your normal rug size. No need to size down
Sits behind the saddle and covers the loins through to the top of the tail
Front edge sits around the back of the saddle, straps secure under the girth or to the saddle D rings
Fillet string goes under the tail

Care

Machine washable at home
Wool or gentle cycle at 30°C, short spin
Do not tumble dry
Pre-shrunk and colour fast, so it keeps its shape and colour wash after wash

Every Thermatex rug is made to order, so it can be made your way.

Binding colour: choose from the full binding range above. £20, allow up to 3 weeks.
Double binding: two colours, £45. Contact us to set it up
Embroidery: add text or a logo using the options above. £25 one side, £40 both sides. New logos carry a £25 set up fee. We will contact you for artwork and to confirm size and placement once your order has been placed.
Alterations: different buckles, surcingles or straps, £20. Contact us.
Made to measure: £60. Send us the measurements and we will confirm before we start.
Bespoke fabric colours: orders of 6 or more, allow 6 weeks. See our teams and custom page.

Everything is made to order in our Northamptonshire workshop. Standard orders dispatch within 2 weeks, custom binding and embroidery up to 3 weeks.

Standard delivery £8.95. Free on orders over £150 (includes Isle of Man).

Channel Islands £19.95.

Europe, USA, Canada and over 40 other countries. Rates from £30 to £150 depending on destination and order size, calculated at checkout. Duties and taxes included, nothing to pay on delivery. Country not listed? Get in touch for a quote.

Express

Need it sooner than the standard window? Contact us and we'll tell you if we can. The standard express charge is £30.

Returns

Unused items in original condition within 30 days of delivery. Return postage is at your cost unless the item is faulty. Exception: Customised products are made to order and cannot be returned or exchanged. Please check your size and colours carefully.

Guarantee

Two years against faults in materials and workmanship. Send us your order number and a photo and we will repair or replace.
